The Emmert Patternmakers Vise (not vice as my wife sees it) was and still is one of the most feature-rich tools in the wood shop. Add one to your bench or better yet build a bench around it and you'll see that I mean. This vise inspired the Lee Valley Tucker Vise, as well as copies by AMT and Woodcraft to name a few. This blog attempts to join new owners with old vises, and will track the street value of vises as they come and go from eBay. Now I've added Lion Miter Trimmers to the hunt!
DOSH Miter Trimmer For Sale
Dosh miter trimmers were made from the early 1900's until the early 1970's and were a close copy to the Lion Trimmer. This one looks nice and clean. Ends Jan 27th
